Guizhou firm drives innovation in automotive parts

Guizhou Huayongxin Electromechanical Manufacturing Co, a manufacturer of automotive components including smart keys, contactor power bases, terminals, and wiring harnesses, settled in Gui'an New Area in 2016 through targeted investment initiatives.

At the time, the area was an untapped land full of potential. Over the past decade, the company has both witnessed and contributed to the transformation of the zone from initial blueprints into a bustling industrial hub, becoming a vivid example of the region's steady economic growth.

In its early years, the company primarily processed components according to client drawings, which limited its competitive voice and innovation potential. "We were just following orders. While this ensured steady business, it also made production rigid and cash flow cycles longer, weakening our ability to respond to risk", explained Chen Xinzhi, the company's CEO.

To break this cycle, Huayongxin established a dedicated R&D team, advancing process optimization, automation, cost control, and quality improvement. The company's innovation efforts have now paid off, allowing it to expand internationally.

In 2025, Huayongxin showcased its self-developed automotive smart keys at many international exhibitions.
