Guizhou strengthens industries and leads in innovation

Southwest China's Guizhou province has pursued simultaneous growth of traditional industries and emerging sectors this year by steadily optimizing its industrial structure, coordinating local leading industries to avoid overlap and foster collaboration, and extending industrial chains.

By utilizing technological innovation and big data, traditional sectors gained new momentum, and emerging industries such as new energy batteries and materials, big data electronics, and high-end equipment manufacturing deepened their roots, enhancing the overall industrial landscape.

The province's industrial investment growth remained above national and western China averages, supported by a "3+2" cultivation system that boosted market vitality by nurturing innovative companies, specialized and innovative enterprises, small- and medium-sized firms, single-champion enterprises, and leading enterprises.

Green industrial transformation also advanced, with six zero-carbon pilot factories, 25 national green factories, 10 national green industrial parks, and multiple provincial-level green enterprises. At the same time, the province's comprehensive utilization of phosphogypsum remains a national leader.
