Guiyang and Gui'an drive industrial growth with dual engines

In Guanshanhu district, Guiyang Flash Polymer Battery Co's automated production lines hum with precision. Mechanical arms assemble the world's first battery capable of withstanding 5.8-millimeter live-ammunition penetration tests. As the heart of new energy vehicles, the batteries move from production to vehicle assembly in just 4.5 hours, with one battery pack completed every two minutes. 

COFCO Coca-Cola Beverage (Guizhou) Co operates four fully automated drink production lines. With a new canning line added in May, annual output will increase by up to 50,000 metric tons, while first-half sales increased by over 10 percent year-on-year.

The China Aluminum Co Guizhou Branch's alloy division runs high-tech smelting, casting, packaging, and shipping processes. Continuous innovation and quality improvement have helped the division set its highest-ever revenue record in the first half of the year.

At CRRC Guiyang Co, the open railcar line combines robotic arms with 3D scanning and visual imaging, increasing production efficiency by 40 percent. Optimized workflows and smart production technologies are replacing labor-intensive methods, enabling the company to produce and repair over 7,000 vehicles in the first eight months, with revenue up 16.53 percent year-on-year.

From January to August, the industrial added value of large-scale enterprises in Guiyang City and Gui'an Area rose 10.7 percent year-on-year. Large and medium-sized enterprises grew 8.5 percent, while small and micro enterprises surged 20.1 percent.

Guiyang and Gui'an's industrial sector is demonstrating strong momentum, fueled by cutting-edge innovation and strong traditional manufacturing, setting a model for high-quality industrial growth.
