CCB data center project tops out first building

China Construction Fourth Engineering Division Co announced on Aug 13 that the first main structure of the China Construction Bank (CCB) data center and big data application demonstration base (phase I) in Gui'an New Area has been topped out, marking a significant milestone in the project's progress.

Covering a total floor area of about 174,100 square meters, phase I will include four data center buildings, two supporting power centers, one operation and maintenance complex, and two substations. Once completed, it will support the deployment of 100,000 servers, serving as CCB's main big data production hub, high-performance computing center, and core data backup center.

All participating units have worked in close coordination, with the project team implementing a detailed construction plan and optimizing resource allocation. Through the tireless efforts of all builders, the topping out milestone was achieved on schedule without compromising quality, earning recognition from the client, supervisors, and the wider community.
