On July 6, a forum titled Industrial Resources Recycling Contributes to the Construction of Ecological Civilization was held in Guiyang, drawing over 300 participants from government bodies, academia, international organizations, and leading enterprises.

The event focused on advancing green, low-carbon industrial transformation and discussed strategies for efficient resource recycling, pollution control, and the integration of industrial and ecological development.

Guizhou showcased its pioneering practices in areas such as phosphogypsum reuse and second-life battery applications. These initiatives, known collectively as the "Guizhou Plan", reflect the province's commitment to green, high-quality growth.

In recent years, Guizhou has prioritized developing a circular economy, establishing 118 national-level green factories, 26 green industrial parks, and 10 green supply chain enterprises.

The province also boasts three national industrial resource utilization bases and 21 nationally recognized recycling enterprises. Its industrial solid waste utilization rate consistently surpasses the national average.

The forum also featured keynote speeches, case studies, and experience-sharing sessions on domestic and international circular economy practices. Experts from global organizations, top enterprises, and research institutions highlighted technological innovations in energy saving, recycling, and process reengineering.
