Guiyang's industrial economy maintains steady growth

From January to May this year, Guiyang's industrial economy remained stable with steady growth.

The added value of industries above the designated size in Guiyang increased by 10.9 percent year-over-year. By enterprise size, large and medium-sized enterprises grew 8.8 percent, while small and micro-sized enterprises surged 20.3 percent.

Among the 37 major industry categories monitored, 20 reported positive growth, accounting for over half. Automobile manufacturing increased 119.2 percent, electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing grew 106.0 percent, and the computer, communication, and electronic equipment sector expanded 83.5 percent.
