The Guizhou HKC Optoelectronics Display Industry Cluster project's production base commenced operations in Gui'an New Area on May 7, marking the start of mass production after just five months of construction.
The project is being developed in two phases. Phase I has a total investment of 3.33 billion yuan ($456.16 million) and focuses on producing electronic and smart wearable display modules.
Once operational, Phase I is expected to generate an annual output value of at least 4 billion yuan and directly employ around 750 workers, with approximately 1,000 additional jobs created indirectly.

During the project's launch ceremony, HKC Corporation Vice-President Hang Jingqiang stated that the company will continue strengthening its R&D efforts, focusing on innovation in next-generation semiconductor display technologies.
He emphasized HKC's commitment to enhancing product performance and expanding its presence in the high-end domestic and international display markets.
