On March 12, the Guiyang bureau of industry and information technology hosted a seminar on building the 2025 Guiyang technology innovation system. Bureau officials introduced plans for the 2025 Guiyang enterprise technology center accreditation and related support policies. They encouraged companies to build enterprise technology centers, driving high-quality development through technological innovation.

Representatives from Tongshi Design and Hanxiu Creative Design – two companies based in the Guizhou Industrial Design City – delivered speeches on industrial design, offering insights on how creative design can empower business growth and help companies enhance their brand identity.

Professor Li Wei from Guizhou University discussed the city-level enterprise technology centers, the provincial-level technology innovation system, and the revised "Guiyang Enterprise Technology Center Accreditation Management Measures", which guide businesses in establishing and improving their technology innovation systems.

Li advised optimizing the organizational structure of enterprise technology centers, strengthening the management of R&D projects, and focusing on efficient investment in technology, talent, and R&D funding to elevate enterprises' technology innovation capabilities.

To support the development of a customized local production service mechanism and platform, the bureau invited raw materials, customized equipment production and services, 3D printing, and e-commerce platform businesses to meet with Guizhou Industrial Design City companies. This meeting aimed to enhance communication and cooperation between supply and demand.

Guiyang's enterprise technology center accreditation process was first launched in 2021, making it a pioneer in Guizhou province.

The city has established a collaborative mechanism for national, provincial, and municipal-level technology centers. A total of 106 enterprise technology centers have been accredited in Guiyang, with 16 city-level centers advancing to provincial-level status by improving their technological innovation capabilities.

Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area host 176 enterprise technology centers at the provincial level and above, 46 industrial design centers, one provincial-level manufacturing innovation center, and six national industrial technology public service platforms. These numbers account for over 50 percent of similar platforms in the province.
