Southwest China's Guizhou province is committed to supporting Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area in developing a new energy vehicle (NEV) industry cluster by strengthening the supply chain for key components around major automakers.
Following the "Electric Guizhou" policy, which aims to reach 700,000 NEVs in the province by 2026, Guizhou is driving NEV adoption through a dual approach targeting public and personal use.
Guizhou's NEV manufacturing sector has grown rapidly in recent years. Passenger cars, such as the Geely Galaxy E5, and commercial vehicles are expanding their product range, offering diverse options to the market.
Since its global launch in August 2024, the Geely Galaxy E5 has gained popularity for its stylish design, excellent energy efficiency, comfort, and smart features. In just 119 days, over 60,000 units have been delivered, with an average daily sales volume of 500.
Chery Wanda has also utilized its technological strengths and high-quality products to expand its business, exporting vehicles to South Korea and Mexico.
