From January to November, Guiyang achieved remarkable industrial growth, with the added value of industries above a designated size increasing by 9.7 percent year over year.
This growth rate outperformed the national average of 5.8 percent and Guizhou province's average of 8.3 percent by 3.9 and 1.4 percentage points, respectively.
Guiyang ranked second among West China's 10 provincial capitals and secured third place within Guizhou.
A diverse set of industries drove the city's industrial growth, as 36 major sectors exhibited mixed performances. Of these, 21 industries recorded growth, and 13 achieved double-digit increases. This robust performance highlights Guiyang's efforts to bolster its industrial economy and strengthen its competitiveness in western China.
