Operating income of '2 parks' in Guiyang exceeds 98b yuan

In 2023, the Guiyang Shiban Modern Trade and Service Park and the Southwest Modern Trade and Logistics Park, both located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, saw a total operating income that exceeded 98 billion yuan ($13.62 billion), and welcomed 6,697 new entities.

Additionally, seven infrastructure and public supporting projects were initiated during this period, five of which were completed, with a total investment of 15.36 billion yuan. The investment attraction in the Guiyang Shiban Modern Trade and Service Park reached 32.49 billion yuan, while the Southwest Modern Trade and Logistics Park successfully filled approximately 309,500 square meters of vacant space, showing a new trend of development in the parks.

The advancement of these two industrial parks is of great significance in accelerating the development of modern trade in Guiyang and Gui'an New Area.

In 2024, the special task force for the two parks will focus on overcoming challenges, attracting more operating entities and investments, advancing projects, addressing issues, and providing financial support. The task force will also upgrade management, drive the market, nurture brands, and ensure accountability in order to vigorously promote the high-quality development of the parks.
