Guiyang HIDZ welcomes 4 provincial green factories

The Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology has recently released the list of Guizhou Green Manufacturing Companies for the year of 2023. Four enterprises from the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ), namely Guizhou Zhenhua E-Chem Inc, Guizhou Changtong Electric Co, Guizhou Huitong Huacheng Co and Guizhou Touchworks Optoelectronics Co, have been awarded the Green Factory certification.

The selection process for this year's Green Manufacturing Companies List involved procedures such as self-evaluation by the applying entities, recommendations from industrial and information technology authorities in various regions, on-site investigations, professional reviews and deliberations, solicitation of opinions from relevant departments, and public disclosure.

The final list for the year of 2023 includes entities in categories related to green manufacturing, such as green factories, enterprises with green supply chain management, products with green designs, and green industrial parks.

In recent years, Guiyang HIDZ has vigorously promoted the green upgrading of traditional industries. Measures include implementing energy-saving and emissions reduction initiatives, promoting clean production, and adopting automated control in traditional industrial enterprises. The aim is to transform and enhance the fundamental capabilities of traditional industries in areas such as technology, quality, brand, and management.

These efforts have been driving the transformation of the development model of traditional industries from extensive growth based on scale and speed to intensive growth emphasizing quality and efficiency.

As a result, the zone has successfully nurtured a batch of green manufacturing enterprises, including Vontron Technology Co and Hanfang Pharmaceutical Co, and is accelerating the clustering of green industries.
