Symposium held in Guiyang for development of packaging industry

A symposium on prompting the high-quality development of packaging industry was held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on July 21.

The symposium was presided over by Zhu Kuaichun, deputy director of the Guiyang municipal bureau of industry and information technology. It was graced by the presence of the president and secretary general of the Guizhou Packaging Association, along with leaders from various packaging companies.

During the symposium, the president of the Guizhou Packaging Association provided a comprehensive overview of the packaging industry's development in Guizhou province, with a particular focus on the progress made in Guiyang.

Some companies reported on the production situation and difficulties faced in the first half of the year.

At the symposium, an urgent call was made to accelerate the classification and investigation of packaging products in packaging enterprises and the seven key industrial enterprises' specific requirements for packaging products. The aim was to gain a comprehensive understanding of the actual needs and demands within the industry.

The symposium emphasized the need for relevant departments to focus their efforts on supporting innovation, facilitating market development, and promoting products. These actions were intended to expedite the high-end, intelligent, and green development of the packaging industry in Guiyang.
