Guizhou accelerates green manufacturing system

Since the beginning of this year, Southwest China's Guizhou province has actively promoted green industrial development.

Building a green and low-carbon industrial system is an inevitable approach to achieving sustainable development, and green manufacturing plays a crucial role in promoting green industrial development.

So far, Guizhou has established 209 green factories and 38 green parks, including 60 national-level green factories and 149 provincial-level green factories, as well as 12 national-level green parks and 26 provincial-level green parks.

The province's comprehensive utilization rate of industrial solid waste has reached 64.5 percent, higher than the national average.

Also, the province's per-unit GDP energy consumption of industrial added value above a designated size has decreased by 3 percent year-on-year, demonstrating its significant energy-saving effects.
