Industrial internet application scenario contest kicks off

The preliminary round of the Industrial Internet Application Scenario Contest of the Big Data Expo 2023 was held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on May 12.

A total of 205 teams registered in the early stage, which began on March 15. After passing the expert review and preliminary screening, 60 teams entered the preliminary round.

During this two-day stage, 24 outstanding teams will be selected for the finals.

The first day of competition on May 12 focuses on electronic information manufacturing, the phosphorous chemical industry, and aluminum and aluminum processing, while on May 13 the focus will switch to Moutai-flavored liquor, coal mines, and biomedicine.

This round adopts the "10+5" mode, namely, 10 minutes of a project roadshow and a five-minute Q&A. The project review will be conducted in the form of an online roadshow, question answering, and on-site scoring by judges.

This year's Industrial Internet Application Scenario Contest focuses on the key manufacturing fields of Guizhou's pillar industries such as electronic information manufacturing, aluminum and aluminum processing, the phosphorus chemical industry, Maotai-flavor liquor, coal, and medicine.

It aims to collect and select industrial internet application scenario solutions that are practical, innovative and have solid development prospects.
