In recent years, Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has taken pains to implement an innovation-driven development strategy, and attached great importance to building an advanced technological innovation system.
In 2021, the city took the lead in launching the certification of municipal-level enterprise technology centers in the province. Over the past two years, a total of 56 such centers have been certified.
As of now, the province is home to 25 national-level enterprise technology centers and 264 provincial-level enterprise technology centers, of which 16 at the national level and 144 at a provincial level are in Guiyang, accounting for more than half of those in the province.
The enterprise technology center of Guizhou Guicai Innovation Technology Co was certified at the municipal level in 2021 and at the provincial level in 2022.
The company has been developing aluminum alloy doors and windows, industrial profiles, rail transit equipment, engineering materials and other products. It is now investing in technology and equipment on a large scale for new energy vehicle standard parts.
The company's confidence in its transformation comes from its strong technological support, which means it has no concerns about product innovation.
Li Yanlei, deputy general manager, expressed confidence in the company's future development.
He said the certification of the enterprise technology center not only allows the company to receive more support in terms of technology, capital, and policies, but also symbolizes the raised profile of the company's soft power.
