Training, exchange activity helps Guiyang enterprises with green transformation

A training and exchange activity entitled "Creating Green Enterprises with High Efficiency and Low Carbon, Promoting Development Through Clean Cycle" was held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The activity was hosted by the Guiyang municipal bureau of industry and information technology, with several professional, refined, specialized and innovative enterprises and enterprises above a designated size in several industrial fields participating.

During the event, training and exchanges on what is a green factory, the status quo of green factories, policy support, declaration process, and green factory indicators and requirements were carried out.

"Such training and exchanges are very important to us, and allow us to learn more about the country's policies on green development," said Ji Tao, deputy general manager of Guizhou Guangyi Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology Co.

In recent years, Guiyang has continued to improve the ability of enterprises to create and manage green factories so as to accelerate the construction of a green manufacturing system, promote the green development of industries, and achieve peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality in the industrial field.

Moving forward, Guiyang plans to help industrial enterprises to apply for the designation of green factories, green design products, create green industrial parks, and green supply chain management, and carry out green and low-carbon upgrading and transformation of enterprises that have been listed on the green manufacturing list.
