Guiyang's industrial enterprises strive to boost production

Industrial enterprises in Guiyang, Guizhou province have spared no effort to boost production capacity this year in a bid to contribute to Guiyang's transformation into a "strong provincial capital".

Guizhou Yaguang Electronic Technology Co has prioritized sci-tech innovation as a way to boost transformation. The company plans to invest in 14 technical reformation projects to boost production by 30 percent as well as to introduce automatic equipment for higher-level automation of production lines.

The company has already built six intelligent automatic production lines, becoming the first domestic supplier of key technology in auto electronics control.

Guiyang's Xunda Electronic Co, a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development and production of electronic materials, components and modules, has increased investment in intelligent manufacturing and strengthened research and development of materials, new components and modules to promote industrialization. In 2022, the enterprise managed to boost its annual sales by 25 percent.

Guizhou Huitong Huacheng Co, another high-tech enterprise based in Guiyang, is committed to researching and producing energy-saving air-conditioning systems to boost energy conservation and reduce emissions. The enterprise will continue with efforts to construct digital and intelligent production lines to increase its annual output value by 20 percent.

Changtong Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Base is striving to build industrial clusters. This year, Guizhou Changtong Group has set its output value target for traditional sectors, including wires, cables and building materials, at 5 billion yuan ($727.6 million), as well as a 10-billion-yuan output value target for the new energy sector. 

The group will focus on promoting the development of wind-power-related supporting enterprises in Guizhou and facilitating new industrialization.
