Guiyang, Guian accelerate development of green economy

Guiyang and Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province have recently rolled out plans to promote high-quality economic and social development guided by green economy.

The plans state that green production, green consumption, green life, and green civilization are specific starting points to promote the high-quality development of the green economy, paving the way for the economic and social transformation and development of Guiyang and Guian.

In Kaiyang county of Guiyang, Guizhou Kaiyang New Energy Materials Industrial Park is home to a group of new energy power battery and material manufacturers, including Guizhou Anda Technology Energy Co.

The company recently became the first in Guizhou to pass the review of the listing committee of the Beijing Stock Exchange.

The first phase of the company's plan to produce 50,000 metric tons of lithium iron phosphate has been completed, and work on the second phase is in full swing.

By 2025, the company is expected to be able to form a supporting capacity project of 500,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate per year and 500,000 tons of iron phosphate per year.

In Guian, the construction of the SPIC Guian data center is progressing steadily. The center focuses on the power industry as a digital industry chain.

After completion, the center will not only provide comprehensive energy supply services for SPIC and other big data centers in Guizhou, but also provide internet application platform digital services for other energy industries.

Also, Guiyang and Guian are focusing on promoting green consumption. Green consumption is becoming preferred among more and more consumers. Enterprises in several key fields are also actively transitioning toward green development.
