Guizhou holds meeting on medical supply support

The Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology held a special meeting on the guarantee of medical supplies on Sept 8 to study and implement key tasks in the near future.

Since the onset of the current COVID-19 wave in Guiyang, relevant provincial departments and Guiyang have acted quickly and cooperated closely to fully guarantee ample medical supplies.

So far, Guiyang and the whole province have had enough medical supplies.

At the meeting, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology proposed ensuring supplies for nucleic acid and antigen testing, and conducting an in-depth and systematic analysis of supplies of detection reagents, supporting consumables and other materials.

It also said it is necessary to strengthen the coordination of the transportation and distribution of medical supplies, improve transportation guarantee measures for the transportation of medical supplies in Guiyang, and establish corresponding connection points for the transportation of medical supplies to improve the transportation and distribution efficiency of medical supplies.
