The finals of the 7th "Maker in China" Guiyang Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition came to a close in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 3.
A total of 60 projects participated in the competition, involving big data, new materials, artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, digital economy, internet of things, biomedicine, network information and security.
The competition was divided into two groups for enterprises and makers.
At the final stage, each participating team introduced their projects' strengths, business models, and teams.
The competition will help Guiyang discover a number of high-quality, creative and innovative projects to promote entrepreneurship and employment, and participate in provincial and national competitions, according to the Guiyang municipal bureau of industry and information technology.
