Guiyang holds lecture on technological innovation system

The Guiyang municipal bureau of industry and information technology held a lecture on the development of Guiyang's technological innovation system on June 22.

The lecture is meant to guide and support enterprises in creating innovation platforms such as Guiyang enterprise technology centers and further enhance their technological innovation capabilities.

At the lecture, a higher-up at the bureau shared the development of technological innovation work in Guiyang since 2021.

He Fuqiang from Guizhou University explained administrative measures for the recognition of Guiyang enterprise technology centers in detail.

Li Yaping, general manager of Guizhou Xiaodingdang Information Technology Co, explained statistics related to enterprise research and development activities.

The technological innovation system includes enterprise technology centers, industrial design centers, manufacturing innovation centers, technological innovation demonstration enterprises, and demonstration bases for the combination of production, education and research.

In recent years, Guiyang has been implementing an innovation-driven development strategy and attaching heavy importance to the development of a technological innovation system.

Guiyang is currently home to 149 provincial-level enterprise technology centers, 28 provincial-level industrial design centers, eight provincial-level pilot manufacturing innovation centers, 48 provincial-level technological innovation demonstration enterprises, and 25 provincial-level demonstration bases for the combination of production, education and research.
