A total of 87 enterprises based in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province have benefited from an interest subsidy for Guiyang working capital loans for industrial enterprises in 2021, with the subsidies totaling 53.61 million yuan ($7.93 million), according to the Guiyang municipal bureau of industry and information technology.
The 87 enterprises are involved in the key industrial fields of advanced equipment manufacturing, aluminum and aluminum processing, ecological specialty foods, health and medicine.
The interest subsidy for working capital loans is a powerful measure meant to help Guiyang increase its support for industrial enterprises in an effort to help them raise production capacity and increase efficiency.
In 2020, a total of 39 enterprises in Guiyang received more than 47.59 million yuan in working capital loan interest subsidies allocated at the municipal level.
Guiyang will direct various financial institutions to increase support in terms of credit policies, inclusive finance, and green and low-carbon transformation financial policies to further ease difficulties related to the high cost of financing for small and medium-sized enterprises.
