Bureau holds special job fair at Guiyang college

The Guiyang municipal bureau of industry and information technology held a special job fair at Guizhou Aviation Vocational and Technical College in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on May 10.

The job fair not only provided employment opportunities and high-quality jobs for 2022 graduates, but also provided a series of public services such as employment and entrepreneurship guidance, policy interpretation and other public services for previous graduates.

A communication platform for enterprises and graduates was built according to the professional setting of the college and the employment and entrepreneurial needs of graduates, attracting 35 enterprises in the fields of welding technology and automation, mechatronics technology, automobile inspection and maintenance technology, and cooking technology and nutrition to participate.

On that day, more than 500 jobs were offered.

Staff members from the municipal human resources and social security bureau and the municipal housing and urban-rural development bureau answered questions on talent policy, housing security and other related issues raised by students, teaching them about the current employment and entrepreneurship situation and helping them make career plans.

Cheng Ning, deputy director of the Guiyang municipal bureau of industry and information technology, talked with enterprise representatives and students, and gained a deeper understanding of their needs.

She said that, so far, Guiyang's industries are developing steadily, but more professional talent is urgently needed.
