The company is located in the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou.
Its old factory was built in 1958 and the company was formed when six cable manufacturers in Shanghai moved to Jinzhu town, Xiaohe district (now GETDZ) in Guiyang.
In 2017, Yudie decided to relocate from Jinzhu town to Huaguan Road and accelerated its intelligent transformation.
With the help of GETDZ, in 2018 the company built the Yudie Electric Industrial Production Base in the Xiaohe-Mengguan Industrial Park and built the country's first intelligent cable integrating intelligent manufacturing and an intelligent warehousing production line and independently built an automated three-dimensional warehouse.
In addition to the construction of intelligent production lines and intelligent warehouse workshops, the company has also built an internet of things platform for industrial equipment and a data collaboration work center, making enterprise management more refined and efficient.
Due to the high degree of automation in its intelligent manufacturing and its consistent product quality over the decades, Yudie has earned a solid reputation among consumers with a market share of 60 to 70 percent in Guizhou.
Last year, Yudie's output was valued at 2.3 billion yuan, its sales revenue was 1.4 billion yuan, and its operating income exceeded 1 billion yuan.
