The event was jointly organized by the Guiyang municipal bureau of human resources and social security, Guizhou Aviation Vocational and Technical College, Guizhou City Vocational College – as well as 30 advanced equipment automobile manufacturers – located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
At the meeting, He Lingyan, deputy director of the Guiyang municipal bureau of industry and information technology, said colleges and companies needed to do a better job in talent training and matchmaking of employment needs. This, He said, would ensure the personnel needed for the industrial development of Guiyang.
The two bureaus introduced various policies of Guiyang to participating companies and distributed information to them on Guiyang's HR policies.
Meanwhile, the Guizhou Aerospace Vocational and Technical College and the Guizhou City Vocational College introduced their own student training and student employment programs, hoping to secure long-term cooperation with companies.
Some businesses said they would expand ties with schools on the basis of previous ventures that included special training and vocational education, designed to jointly cultivate people so that they met the employment needs of companies.
