Guiyang city and Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province, have collected 624.33 hectares and 44.21 hectares of industrial land for 2021, exceeding the annual targets by 234 percent and 133 percent respectively.
An official from the Guiyang center of land and mineral resources reserve said that they had worked in accordance within the requirements of the land reserve institution reforms, prioritizing land for industrial use.
They had also benefited from methodical and systematic plans on land reserves and capital supplies from financial departments at all levels, the official added.
The industrial land reserved in Guiyang will mainly be distributed to projects launched by companies, including Aero Engine Corporation of China and Guizhou Hongju Thermal Design Co.
Guian's reserved land will mainly be used to establish industrial production bases and financial institutions.
