Guiyang seeks to vitalize market entities

Guiyang has been making steady progress in cultivating market entities and improving its business environment.

In order to expand the number of industrial enterprises above a designated size, the government has established a special cultivation reserve for local firms and synergized supporting services in market factors and project settlement. Two companies have been listed on the SSE STAR Market and 46 enterprises have been recognized as provincial small and medium-sized enterprises of specialization, refinement, differentiation, and innovation.

About 18,600 industrial market entities have been cultivated to date, and since January this year, 15 Guiyang firms have been granted the title of "little giant enterprise".

In addition, the further improvement of the Guishangyi app – an online government service platform tailored to private enterprises in Guiyang that has five main functions related to government policies, finance and the market – has made it more convenient for private business operators to handle government affairs. The number of registered users on the platform has reached 204,940.
