Guiyang, Guian strive to extend industrial chains

In a bid to magnify the cluster effect in industrial development, Guiyang and Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province have made all kinds of efforts to extend existing industrial chains, adhere to sustainable, high-end, and intensive development principles, and draw special attention to eight major industries – auto making, smart homes, green food, power batteries, hydrogen energy, aluminum-based materials, phosphorous-related new materials, and chemical medicine.

Led by key enterprises such as Aero Engine Corporation of China and Hengli Group, Guian has established several industrial parks focusing on special green food, high-end equipment manufacturing, and high-quality textiles.

Guanshanhu district is working to achieve progress in automobile and mechanical equipment making, and has cumulatively introduced 30 core supporting spare parts providers for the Geely whole-car project in Guiyang.
