With the goal of advancing the new industrialization process and making more breakthroughs, the city of Guiyang is striving to create better industrial conditions for local enterprises in terms of land management, policies, capital support, energy and talent supply.
The city has accelerated steps to scientifically store up industrial land and build standardized factories. From January to September this year, a total of 2.13 million square meters of standardized factories were built in the city.
In addition, Guiyang also provided 400 million yuan ($62.6 billion) in capital support for emergency purposes to 44 medium and small-sized enterprises during the first three quarters of this year.
The government has also led the raising of funds to procure thermal coal from other cities and ensure a sufficient supply of electricity for local firms.
Furthermore, officials have coordinated with key industrial units regarding their demand for talent. By holding centralized job fairs and rolling out talent incentives, the government has managed to channel more talent into industrial enterprises.
