The three-day second Guiyang Industrial Expo came to an end on Sept 28 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, with agreements signed for 81 projects receiving a total of 43.8 billion yuan ($6.77 billion) in investment.
This year's expo had an exhibition area of about 45,000 square meters, with more than 520 exhibiting companies displaying nearly 2,000 products.
The exhibited products include new energy vehicles, advanced equipment, modern industries, industrial internet, high-quality tobacco, wine, medicine, and specialty foods.

The expo showcased the latest achievements, products, and technologies of the development of new industrialization, attracting more than 60,000 visitors.
In addition to exhibition activities, nine cities and prefectures in Guizhou also organized production and sales matchmaking activities, as well as three summit forums on carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality, 5G + industrial internet scenario applications, and digital energy development.
Meanwhile, a small and medium-sized enterprise innovation and entrepreneurship competition, industrial design competition, and industrial robot technology application competition were held, further promoting Guizhou's new industrialization.
