The upgraded version of the Guiyang Private Economy Service Platform went online on Aug 10, according to information released at a press conference by Guiyang municipal bureau of industry and information technology.

After updating the platform, companies can conveniently display the manufacturing details and current supply of their products, as well as information related to the raw materials and components required for production.

By including detailed industry classifications for equipment manufacturers, rubber and plastic producers, and companies that make specialty products, the platform will greatly improve the efficiency of connecting suppliers with buyers.

While browsing the platform, companies can directly contact suppliers or potential buyers via text message or telephone – allowing for timely communication that should promote both enhanced production and sales.

Since the platform has a newly added "special product-release code" option, companies no longer need to download the app to register and can now use WeChat to directly scan product-release codes.

At present, more than 174 small and medium-size enterprises have released 281 pieces of supply and demand information on the upgraded platform.

In the future, Guiyang municipal bureau of industry and information technology will encourage more than 700 enterprises above a designated size – with an annual sales revenue surpassing 20 million yuan ($2.89 million) – to release information on the platform, helping them broaden product sales channels and quickly realize online production and sales.
